Soccer Program Descriptions

The “R” in WNMRC stands for Rec (Recreation) so our soccer programs do not require tryouts – anyone can join the team. At all of the age levels there will be a mix of kids that have never played, those that have only limited experience with the game and those that have been playing several seasons. The emphasis is on fun, developing good sportsmanship, learning the ins & outs of the game and fostering an appreciation for the game of soccer.Soccer contributes to the well-being of children by engaging them in the sport while teaching them basic movements. At this introductory level, the objective is to get moving and to keep active.
